Delivery Times
All goods are in stock and will be dispatched to reach you within 5 - 7 days. In the event that no one is available to receive the goods, they will be returned to our carrier’s depot and you will be contacted to arrange a convenient time to re-deliver. Deliveries are usually made on working days between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday and will be delivered to the address shown on your order unless otherwise specified. The customer is under a duty to inspect the goods on delivery and provide a signature.
Postage and Packaging
Cost of postage and packing is worked out automatically by weight when you add an item to your basket. We currently ship products to the United Kingdom and EU countries. We accept payments in GB pounds.
United Kingdom (outlying areas): Our couriers treat any areas which are not on mainland England, Wales or Scotland as 'outlying'. This includes all islands, Northern Ireland and certain remote areas of the Scottish Highlands. If you live in one of these areas, please choose this shipping option.

Refunds
If you are not delighted with your purchase you have the right to cancel within seven days of your purchase, or seven days from the receipt of the goods (whichever is longer). If you cancel your order you will have your payment returned, provided you return your goods to us at the address shown on the contact us page. All items must be returned in original packaging in saleable condition.
Goods supplied will be replaced or repaired free of charge or, at our absolute discretion, the purchase price refunded if notice of the defect is given to us within 48 hours of delivery of the goods and are returned to our depot carriage paid and we are satisfied that they were defective in materials or workmanship on delivery. Claims for damages and or shortages made after 48 hours of your delivery arriving will be refused – the time and date of delivery is recorded with our carriers. Goods must be returned to Discount Lighting Store at the buyer’s expense within 7 working days from receipt. Keep all packing materials in case you need to return the goods to us. Discount Lighting Store reserves the right to refuse a refund if the goods have been used, and/or the buyer has not informed Discount Lighting Store by e-mail of the returning goods, and/or the goods are returned without the original packaging, and/or there are missing parts and/or the returns are not received within 7 days of receipt of the goods. A refund (including postage) except for returning postage charges will be given.
If the customer wishes to claim that there is any shortage on delivery in respect of goods supplied by us, that the same have been damaged in transit or that any goods supplied by us are defective or not in accordance with the contract, he shall give notice to us in writing or by email and (in the case of any shortage or damage in transit) to any carrier by whom the goods were delivered within a day after the date of delivery of the same. If the customer fails to give such notice or fails to give us the opportunity to inspect the entire consignment, the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered and to be in accordance with the contract in all respects.
